“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”
The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees the sovereign right of every American citizen the privilege to own a firearm for self-preservation. This became law on December 15, 1791.
Owning a firearm is more American than baseball and apple pie. The citizenship militia of Americas early history is largely responsible for the individual freedoms we enjoy today. They fought against tyranny and injustice imposed upon an unwilling society and in doing so, passed on to their posterity the freedom of self-governance along with the hope and a means to ensure that we remain a free society. This being the reason Americas founding fathers agreed upon and then wrote into Constitutional law the Second Amendment. But in the year 2012 we have an anti-American Neo-Marxist president working with elected officials in Congress and in the Senate and a Supreme Court majority who would like nothing more than to take away the right of every American citizen to own a gun. As Rahm Emanuel so poignantly expressed as the new White House Chief of Staff for the 2008 Obama Administration:
“You never want a serious crisis to go to waste. And what I mean by that is an opportunity to do things you think you could not do before.”
You can be sure that anti-American Democrat and Republican Congressman and Senators alike intend to and are salivating with anticipation at the chance to pass unconstitutional restrictions upon the Second Amendment while emotions are still high in regards to the horrific murders of innocent people in Newtown, Connecticut. As the mainstream media floods our minds with what they decide to report as news, the elitists in our government have planned, have orchestrated, and have set the stage for the eventual drafting of United Nations government control to supersede US Constitutional law. At one time this was not spoken about in public. But not anymore.
The only thing that stands in the way of absolute control of the masses of people is the very real threat of an armed and capable citizenship militia willing to resist the governments ever-encroaching treasonous acts. They are not concerned with the welfare of those whom are governed. We the people are nothing more than slaves whose labor provides the affluent with position for acquisition. The history of American politics is all the evidence needed to prove what will come in the very near future concerning restrictive gun laws and the loss of individual freedom. And sadly few of us even care.
Rahm Emanuel who is no friend to the Second Amendment did this past Monday speak of the necessity for an assault weapons ban at a recent Chicago Police Department graduation ceremony
Senator Dianne Feinstein who is an avid opponent to gun ownership has announced that she will reintroduce the assault weapons ban which then President Bill Clinton signed into law in 1994. This ban expired in 2004. Along with the reintroduced ban Feinstein will accompany with it a companion bill to both the Senate and the House upon the first day of the new Congress. We can only imagine the lunacy of the content of these bills, but it is guaranteed to be unconstitutional.
President Barack Obama spoke yesterday 12/19/2012 in regards to the compromise we must all be willing to make on the behalf of the collective good, and then announced that he had appointed Vice President Joe Biden the task of making Americas schools and streets safer. Does this make you feel secure and cared for? This coming from a man whose world-view and political ideals are the polar opposite of the ideals which are the foundation upon which a free and self-governed people built the greatest society of individual and humanitarian accomplishments in all of world history.
Amidst all the discussions, debates and heated arguments over the importance of gun control the real issue behind the crimes and the killings which happen all too frequently is never addressed. Theirs is a world-view which has no value for human life. The affluent of every government and society throughout world history has proved this. America is no different.
While we work to pay taxes and just get by and then play to momentarily forget the frustrations of it all, our individual freedoms are being taken away. With every new policy, bill and amendment to the Constitution, the duly elected criminals in Washington, DC are officiating the destruction of our way of life. What can we do? What will we do?
