CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS NOW BELIEVES IN GOD

GOD IS…

God is separate. God is holy. God is right. God is love. God is forgiving. God is just.

God is everything we are not for we are evil, wicked, vile creatures who hate the idea that God has given the law that we are to abide by. The love of God that all people refer to, and is grossly misunderstood, is displayed in the atonement that God made for humanity by killing Himself in the person of Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary who willingly took upon Himself the furry of God’s holy anger against the fallen creation God loves. Only Christ could be this substitute!
The anger at those who tell people that they will be judged by God for rejecting Christ’s offer of salvation is too rejecting God. No one can know God apart from Christ. No one can come to believe in Christ apart from God drawing this person and revealing this precious gift. And the only possible way that a person can know about God is by the preaching of God’s Gospel.

We are GOD’s creation and we will all stand before God one day to answer for the life we have lived. Noted author and debater Christopher Hitchens died yesterday. He lived apart from God and only God knows his end. But Scripture is clear that if a person dies without having accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and as LORD, they are then of themselves subject to the wrath of God’s holy anger in the depths of an eternal HELL. Don’t be the fool who lives as if there is no God. Your world-view is grossly wrong.

  1. Good words, also every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is LORD, whether they believe or not. It is SAD to read about hitchens to the end of his life not repenting or believing in GOD. We are made in the image of GOD so he denied himself and GOD.

  2. I love what you wrote, it’s absolutely right. We all someday will have to stand before God and give an account for the way we lived our lives, rather it was good or bad
