Accolades or Truth, the Dilemma Among Writers

Many of today’s popular writers have earned PhDs and Doctorate degrees which have awarded them positions of influence among secular and theological academia, the news media, television and radio talk shows, and an ever-increasing diverse article selection from both magazine print and internet blogs, all to feed the insatiable yearning for knowledge. I will now ask a sobering question: What good has all of their accumulative knowledge done for humanity? To the person who has already answered this question in their mind, I would like to present an idea which is one few people will have considered. Independence. The world-view which predominates is confidence in one’s own ability to plan for and to achieve their goals. This is thought by most to be the right way to live, but I would like to suggest that it is the most arrogant thing a person can do. It is foolish to trust in the advice of another person whose own understanding is void of the only knowledge which can change for the good the morals and the reason of the human intellect. And as a writer, I have come to realize that authors who write softly about the perceived wants, needs and ambitions of people to amass to themselves a large following and to be paid the highest royalties, have sadly offered nothing of intellectual value to challenge their readers.

They have all been taught and now they teach us that what each person perceives, is right for that person. We all have knowledge of the five senses, sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch, but what has been intentionally removed from the textbooks of educational institutions and is greatly neglected among societies today are the two most important senses which give guidance to all faculties of human life. Morals and Reason. The authors mentioned are honored as educators and as innovators of the advancement of modern society, when in fact all of society is racing at breakneck speed to utter abandonment. They are recognized among themselves and each gives the others accolades for the publishing of worthless literary which has brought upon all of humanity the one thing that none of us are prepared for. GOD’s Abandonment! Moron is defined as a person who is notably stupid or lacking in good judgment. And these are the people to whom the world of people’s has bet their eternal salvation upon.

The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God,” They are corrupt, and have committed abominable injustice; There is no one who does good. God has looked down from heaven upon the sons of men
to see if there is anyone who understands, who seeks after God. Every one of them has turned aside; together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one
. (Psalm 53:1-3)

There is hope though.

But what is the divine response to him? “I have kept for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” In the same way then, there has also come to be at the present time a remnant according to GOD’s gracious choice. (Romans 11:4-5)

The authors who wield the sharpest challenge to the felt needs of people with the truth of GOD’s Word are given very little attention apart from annoyance, and are presumed narrow-minded and bigoted. This is what Jesus taught would be the price the follower of Christ will have to endure. The truth of the Gospel was, is, and always will be, offensive to the sinner.

“This I command you, that you love one another. If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.” (John15:17-19)

In today’s age of moral relativism, be careful as to the authors whose books you read. Their intent is not for the betterment of your life as they would have you to believe. They are corrupt in spirit and are reprobate in mind, and can only lead lost and confused people who are like them to an eternal HELL!
The authors of truth on the other hand offer to their readers the truest expression of love that one person can give to another. This is to tell people that GOD has made the way for their sins to be forgiven and to be reconciled with GOD through the atonement that Jesus Christ became in our place. Love is not always what another person would expect it to be.

“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it. Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits.” (Matthew 7:13-16)

I am a writer who chooses to walk the narrow way. For in so doing, I walk with Christ. Please, walk with me…
