GOD is…

Filed under: Writing — William D. Simpson @ 8:16 PM

I agree that mans practice of religion has, over the history of recorded time, brought much oppression upon people, but this does not change the fact that “God is”. And that one day, you and me and every person to have ever lived, will stand before a sovereign and holy God, who will then pass judgment upon each person for the choice they made.
Religion is nothing more that bondage to an ideal that will never be obtained. Only the person’s life transformed by the application of the Gospels message of salvation through Jesus Christ, will truly come to know who God really is. It is God Himself, who is the author and the finisher of His work of salvation. Not yours, not mine.

Maher, Hitchens, Oprah, entertainment and media, education, culture and huminist religions are all wrong. The TRUTH is what many people do not want to hear or ackowledge, but their rejection of TRUTH does not change the fact that facing TRUTH is inevitable.
Mock God, and flaunt all you want, but the day will come that God’s grace is no longer. You, and all of those like you, will then cower at His presence, when, to your horror, God’s wrath is dealt out upon the wicked and the lawless. God will have no mercy upon your soul…

Repent and cry out to Jesus Christ for the forgivness of your sin. Allow God to reveal Himself through Scripture and by His Spirit, to help you believe in what is so hard to understand, by the evidence of your life’s tansformation. This is the only hope you have!
